Due to the deterioration of the Takeyakuri Bridge, the bridge is now closed for safety. Accordingly, the rail road route is passable up to the bridge. No access beyond the bridge.

In order to preserve the valuable vegetation of the Ashiu Research Forest, we will be conducting a cull using firearms on the dates listed below. Therefore, to ensure the safety of visitors, access to the forest will be prohibited all day on the dates listed below.
Dates: Tuesday, April 28, 2026; Friday, May 1, 2026 (Reserve Date)
As firearm-based trapping will be conducted all day on these dates, the area is extremely dangerous. Please do not enter the research forest under any circumstances on the dates listed below, regardless of the time of day.
